"Age is inevitable. Aging isn't." - Marv Levy

Looking up "anti-aging tips" on the internet can be frustrating.
They'll usually tell you something like this:
“Change your diet completely, drink tons of water and get at least 12 hours of sleep each night! If you can’t:
Well, then you'll need to spend all your money on injections and treatments."
Thank you very much.
Where’s the in between? Where are those tiny tips and tricks that we could actually use and haven’t heard 50 times before?
Here they are, Darling:
1. Poker Face!
You can actually train your forehead to move less. Studies suggest that 50-60% of forehead lines and wrinkles are caused by repetitive expressions like squinting and raising the eyebrows (known as dynamic wrinkles). So try to recognize when you're doing these expressions and keep calm, Baby.
2. Stick it!
Referring to tip #1, facial smoothing patches will do the work at night, when you can’t control your facial expressions. They not only help to restrict excessive muscle movement but also lock in moisture and ingredients from your skincare.
Make sure your man won't see you wearing them, he'll think you're crazy. Although, he actually already knows that ;)
3. “Why, Chanel No 5 of course”
So this was apparently the only thing Marilyn Monroe wore to bed. And she was onto something: sleeping too warm can interfere with releasing anti-aging hormones. So turn down the heat and toss the nightgown, por favor.
4. Needle(ss) to Say
Afraid of needles? Skip this one:
Acupuncture is inserting fine needles into specific points on the skin. It can dramatically improve circulation, boost collagen production and promote the body’s natural healing processes.
Bonus Info: It also improves energy flow, known as "Qi".
5. Makeup Application Danger
Let's be real, we make the funniest faces while glamming up.
Ever wondered why your mouth opens up a bit while applying mascara?
Your face does that naturally to improve focus and maintain stillness.
Here we go again: try to relax your face while putting on makeup. And never, ever pull or tug on your skin, please.
6. Eat more Fats
Eating lots of healthy fats can be a powerful anti-aging strategy. Fats, like omega-3s found in fish, nuts, and seeds, as well as animal fats found in butter, ghee and tallow help nourish the skin by keeping it hydrated, improving elasticity, and reducing inflammation. You can absolutely tell if somebody is on a fat-free diet just by looking at their skin.
7. Put your best Foot forward
Foot reflexology is applying pressure to specific points on the feet that correspond to different organs and systems in the body and enhance the body’s natural healing processes.
Key foot reflexology points that help with anti-aging include:
Solar Plexus (Middle of Foot): Reduces stress, lowering cortisol levels.
Pituitary Gland (Big Toe): Stimulates growth hormones for skin regeneration.
Endocrine System (Arch of Foot): Balances hormones that influence skin health.
Skin (Toes): Improves circulation and detoxification for a glowing complexion.
Liver (Right Foot, near Arch): Supports detoxification, promoting clear skin.
Kidneys (Middle of Foot): Enhances hydration and skin elasticity.
8. Tropic like it's Hot!
A humidifier can help with anti-aging by adding moisture to the air, which prevents your skin from becoming dry and protects your skin's natural barrier. I let mine run every night! Please make sure to clean it regularly and air out your room every day, so that mold stands no chance.
PS: Anyone who understood what this title refers to, you're a real one!
9. Enjoy your Sweets!
This goes against everything they usually tell you.
But eating sweets can trigger the release of feel-good chemicals like serotonin and endorphins in the brain, which boost your mood and reduce stress. Chronic stress can increase the production of cortisol, a hormone that accelerates aging by breaking down collagen. Now have some chocolate, dear.
10. Age ain't nothing but a Number
Remember, you will always be you. And you will always be beautiful, because no lines, wrinkles, sagging skin or thinning hair can conceal a gorgeous woman.
Your character, charisma, allure, happiness, and humor will always remain.
And then look at all the incredibly attractive elderly women out there, like the beauty in the photo below:
Don't forget you are Gold.
With love,
