The Sexiness of Wanting Less - Less Stuff. But Never Less Fabulous.

By a maximalist who’s learning to chill

Listen. I love stuff.

Shiny stuff. Cozy stuff. Anything pink. Anything that glitters.

I would be the first one to buy this flamingo.

I’m not here to preach minimalism. Honestly, I’m not even close.

And I don't think I want to go all the way.

I’m a MAXIMALIST in recovery.

If recovery means being obsessed with Japanese shopping vlogs and filling online carts I never check out of.

(Window shopping is a love language, right?)

But something has been shifting in me.

Not overnight. Not in some spiritual awakening involving beige linen curtains.

Just a simple, humbling “Why do I own seven mascaras?” kind of moment.

Turns out, wanting everything all the time is exhausting.

Your drawers are full.

Your brain feels fried.

Your house looks like Pinterest and H&M had a baby - not in a good way.

So, I started editing. Not cutting back to nothing.

Just questioning.

Do I actually need this, or do I just like the vibe?

Most of us are grown women now.

And I believe there's something inherently sexy about a woman who doesn’t feel the need to constantly buy things—whether it’s a 5€ vase from a flea market, the latest Zara jacket, or a scented candle with a YouTuber’s discount code.

It’s walking past something beautiful and thinking:

“You're lovely! But I don’t need to take you home.”

That is Iconic behavior, girl.

CEO of restraint.

So these days, I want less - not because I’ve become a minimalist monk, but because I’m tired of being overwhelmed.

I want my home to feel like a hug.

I want to open my drawers without feeling personally attacked.

Your home does not have to be beige n' boring.

Just, you know, a little less crazy hoarder.

Although, let’s be honest, this living room right here does look fabulous:

ree

You see, I still love looking at stuff.

I still faint over beautiful aesthetics.

But I’ve learned to let the thrill live in the looking, not the owning.

That’s an inner glow-up.

It’s not about deprivation. It’s about liberation.

From the clutter, the pressure, the should-haves.

It’s coming home and being able to actually rest.

And if you feel it too: that urge to want better, not more:

Welcome to the club!

ree

We don’t have uniforms (yet), but we’re fabulous and slowly reclaiming our piece of mind.

We can look at things and give them our heart without taking them home.

Believe me:

Your savings account might send you a thank-you card, and your online banking app will finally stop judging you.

ree

This isn’t just a clean-out. It’s a comeback to yourself.

Let’s keep doing it together!

With lots of humor, and maybe just one less random order at midnight.

Because that is freedom.

And there’s nothing sexier than a woman who is free.

ree

MASSIMA: for women who crave beauty with depth, chaos with charm, and a life that actually breathes.

Lots of minimaximalist love,

ree
